त्वां वाजी हवते वाजिनेयो महो वाजस्य गध्यस्य सातौ । त्वां वृत्रेष्विन्द्र सत्पतिं तरुत्रं त्वां चष्टे मुष्टिहा गोषु युध्यन् ॥

tvā́ṃ vājī́ havate vājineyó mahó vā́jasya gádhyasya sātáu | tvā́ṃ vṛtréṣv indra sát-patiṃ táru-traṃ tvā́ṃ caṣṭe muṣṭi-hā́ góṣu yúdhyān ||

হে বাজিক (বাজজয়ী) ইন্দ্ৰ! বল-অন্বেষী তোমাক আহ্বান কৰে—মহৎ আৰু সুদৃঢ়ভাৱে প্ৰতিষ্ঠিত বাজ (সমৃদ্ধি/বীৰ্য)-লাভৰ জয়ত। বৃত্ৰসমূহৰ সৈতে যুদ্ধত, হে ইন্দ্ৰ, তেওঁ তোমাক সত্যপতি, পাৰ-কৰোৱা ত্ৰাতাৰূপে দেখে; গোষু (গো-সমূহ/ৰশ্মি)ৰ বাবে যুদ্ধ কৰা মুষ্টিহা—মুঠিৰ আঘাতত সংহাৰক—ৰূপে তোমাক চায়।
