उशना यत्सहस्यैरयातं गृहमिन्द्र जूजुवानेभिरश्वैः । वन्वानो अत्र सरथं ययाथ कुत्सेन देवैरवनोर्ह शुष्णम् ॥

uśanā yat sahasyair ayātaṃ gṛham indra jūjuvānebhiḥ aśvaiḥ | vanvāno atra sarathaṃ yayātha kutsena devair avanoḥ ha śuṣṇam ||

হে ইন্দ্ৰ, উশনা (উশনা-কাব্য) যেতিয়া সহস্ৰ-সমৃদ্ধ ধনেৰে, যাত্ৰাত উদ্‌গ্ৰীৱ অশ্বসমূহে সৈতে, গৃহলৈ আহিলা, তেতিয়া তুমি প্ৰচেষ্টা কৰি ইয়াত ৰথসহ গ’লা। কুত্স আৰু দেৱতাসকলৰ সৈতে তুমি সত্যই শুষ্ণক দমন কৰাত সহায় কৰিলা—সেই শুকাই দিয়া শক্তিক।
