Sukta 4.2
अधा यथा नः पितरः परासः प्रत्नासो अग्न ऋतमाशुषाणाः । शुचीदयन्दीधितिमुक्थशासः क्षामा भिन्दन्तो अरुणीरप व्रन् ॥
adhā́ yáthā naḥ pitáraḥ párāsaḥ pratnā́so agne ṛtám āśuṣāṇā́ḥ | śucī́d ayan dī́dhitim uktha-śā́saḥ kṣā́mā bhindánto aruṇī́r ápa vran ||
তেতিয়া, হে অগ্নি, যেনেকৈ আমাৰ পুৰ্বপিতৃসকল—প্ৰাচীনসকল—ঋতৰ প্ৰতি উদ্গ্ৰীৱ হৈ কৰিছিল, তেনেকৈ আমিও কৰোঁ। শুচি হৈ, উক্তি ঘোষণা কৰি, তেওঁলোকে দীপ্ত শিখা আনিলে; পৃথিৱী ভেদি, ৰক্তিম আলোসমূহ উন্মোচন কৰি মুক্ত কৰি দিলে।
