Sukta 2.4
नू ते पूर्वस्यावसो अधीतौ तृतीये विदथे मन्म शंसि । अस्मे अग्ने संयद्वीरं बृहन्तं क्षुमन्तं वाजं स्वपत्यं रयिं दाः ॥
nū́ te pū́rvasyā́vaso ádhītau tṛtī́ye vidáthe mánma śaṃsi | asmé agne saṃyád-vī́raṃ bṛhántam kṣú-mantaṃ vā́jaṃ svapátyaṃ rayíṃ dāḥ ||
এতিয়া তোমাৰ প্ৰাচীন সহায়ৰ আগবাঢ়নি গতিৰ ভিতৰত, তৃতীয় বিদথত মই মোৰ মন্ম (প্ৰেৰিত বাণী) ঘোষণা কৰোঁ। হে অগ্নে, আমাক সংযত-বীৰসমূহৰ একত্ৰ সেনা, ব্ৰহন্ত (মহৎ), ক্ষুমন্ত (দীপ্ত সমৃদ্ধি), বিজয়ী পূৰ্ণতাৰ ‘ৱাজ’—সুস্বামিত্বসহ—আৰু ৰয়ি (ধন/অন্তৰ-সমৃদ্ধি) দিয়া।
