Sukta 2.30
ऊर्ध्वो ह्यस्थादध्यन्तरिक्षेऽधा वृत्राय प्र वधं जभार । मिहं वसान उप हीमदुद्रोत्तिग्मायुधो अजयच्छत्रुमिन्द्रः ॥
ūrdhvó hy ásthād ádhy antárikṣe ’dhā vṛtrā́ya prá vadháṃ jabhāra | míhaṃ vásāna úpa hīm ádudrot tig्मā́yudho ajáyac chátrum índraḥ ||
উৰ্ধ্ব হৈ তেওঁ মধ্যাকাশত থিয় হ’ল; তাৰ পাছত বৃত্ৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে বিনাশৰ আঘাত আগবঢ়ালে। শক্তিৰ বৰষুণে আৱৃত হৈ তেওঁ তাৰ ওপৰত ধাৱমান হ’ল; তীক্ষ্ণ অস্ত্ৰে শত্রুক জয় কৰিলে—ইন্দ্ৰ।
