Sukta 2.1
त्वमग्ने सुभृत उत्तमं वयस्तव स्पार्हे वर्ण आ संदृशि श्रियः । त्वं वाजः प्रतरणो बृहन्नसि त्वं रयिर्बहुलो विश्वतस्पृथुः ॥
tvám agne subhṛ́ta uttamáṃ váyas táva spā́rhe várṇa ā́ saṃdṛ́śi śríyaḥ | tváṃ vā́jaḥ pratáraṇo bṛhánn asi tváṃ rayír bahuló viśvátas pṛthúḥ ||
হে অগ্নি, সু-ধৃত, তুমি উত্তমতম বয়স্—সৰ্বোচ্চ জীৱনীশক্তি; তোমাৰ স্পৃহণীয় বৰ্ণ-প্ৰভাত শ্ৰীয়ে স্পষ্ট দৰ্শনলৈ আহে। তুমি ব্ৰহৎ বিজয়ী ‘বাজ’—যি পাৰ কৰায়; তুমি বহুল ৰয়ি—সৰ্বদিশে বিস্তৃত ধন-সমৃদ্ধি।
