आच्छद्विधानैर्गुपितो बार्हतैः सोम रक्षितः । ग्राव्णामिच्छृण्वन्तिष्ठसि न ते अश्नाति पार्थिवः ॥

ā́cchadvidhānāir gupitó bā́rhataiḥ soma rakṣitáḥ | grā́vṇām íc chṛṇvánti tiṣṭhasi ná te aśnāti pā́rthivaḥ ||

আবৰণ-ৰূপে ঢাকি থোৱা বিধানসমূহেৰে গোপন, আৰু বৃহৎ শক্তিসমূহেৰে ৰক্ষিত, হে সোম, তুমি সুৰক্ষিত হৈ আছা। পেষণ-পাথৰসমূহৰ ধ্বনি শুনি তুমি থিয় হৈ আছা; কোনো পাৰ্থিৱ সত্তাই তোমাক আস্বাদন কৰিব নোৱাৰে—কাৰণ তোমাৰ সত্য বাহ্য গ্ৰহণৰ পৰা গোপন।
