Sukta 1.53
दुरो अश्वस्य दुर इन्द्र गोरसि दुरो यवस्य वसुन इनस्पतिः । शिक्षानरः प्रदिवो अकामकर्शनः सखा सखिभ्यस्तमिदं गृणीमसि ॥
duró aśvásya durá índra góḥ asi duró yávasya vásuna ináspátiḥ | śikṣānáraḥ pradívo ákāma-karśanaḥ sakhā sákhibhyas tám idáṃ gṛṇīmasi ||
হে ইন্দ্ৰ, তুমি অশ্বৰ দুৱাৰ, গতি-পথ; তুমি গোৰ (গাই)-ৰ দুৱাৰ—জ্ঞানৰ দীপ্ত ৰশ্মিৰ; তুমি যৱৰ দুৱাৰ—পোষণীয় বৃদ্ধি। তুমি বসু-ধনৰ প্ৰেৰক অধিপতি। মানুহৰ শিক্ষাদাতা, উচ্চ স্বৰ্গৰ পৰা বিস্তৃত, আকামকৰ্শণ (অকামকৰণ) ৰূপে—সখা, সখিসকলৰ বাবে—সেই তোমাকেই আমি এই স্তোত্ৰে গাইছোঁ।
