Sukta 1.167
आ नोऽवोभिर्मरुतो यान्त्वच्छा ज्येष्ठेभिर्वा बृहद्दिवैः सुमायाः । अध यदेषां नियुतः परमाः समुद्रस्य चिद्धनयन्त पारे ॥
ā́ no ’vóbhir marúto yā́ntv ácchā jyeṣṭhébhir vā bṛháddivaiḥ sumāyā́ḥ | ádha yád eṣāṃ niyútaḥ paramā́ḥ samudrásya cid dhánayanta pāré ||
হে মৰুতগণ, তোমালোকৰ সহায়সমূহ লৈ আমাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহা—জ্যেষ্ঠসকলৰ সৈতে হওক বা বৃহৎ-দ্যুতিময়, সুদক্ষসকলৰ সৈতে। কিয়নো যেতিয়া তেওঁলোকৰ পৰম নিয়ুত্ (যুগ্ম শক্তি) সাগৰৰো দূৰ পাৰতো ধন জয় কৰে, তেতিয়াই তেওঁলোকৰ বল প্ৰমাণিত হয়; আমাৰ যাত্ৰাৰ বাবে সেই শক্তি ইয়ালৈ আহক।
