এই সংক্ষিপ্ত পতি-লাভ সূক্তত সামাজিকভাৱে অনুমোদিত দাম্পত্য-সংযোগৰ ৰক্ষক আৰ্যমাণক প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰা হৈছে—যেন তেওঁ এগৰাকী কন্যালৈ উপযুক্ত স্বামী আনে আৰু তাক ফলপ্ৰসূ পত্নীত্বৰ দিশে সুস্থিৰভাৱে প্ৰৱেশ কৰায়। ই বিবাহ-নিৰ্বাচনৰ প্ৰতিযোগিতামূলক ক্ষেত্ৰ ("সাধাৰণ সমাৱেশ") স্বীকাৰ কৰে আৰু প্ৰতিদ্বন্দ্বীসকলৰ ওপৰত দেৱীয় সুবিধা বিচাৰে। শেষ পদত ধাতৃৰ বিশ্ব-ব্যৱস্থা স্থাপনকাৰী শক্তিত এই অনুৰোধ স্থাপন কৰা হৈছে—যে সু-মিলিত বিবাহ ঋত (স্থিতিশীল বিধান)ৰ অংশ আৰু সন্তান তথা সমৃদ্ধিলৈ লৈ যায়।

पतिलाभः। अ॒यमा या॑त्यर्य॒मा पु॒रस्ता॒द् विषि॑तस्तुपः । अ॒स्या इ॒चछन्न॒ग्रुवै॒ पति॑मु॒त जा॒याम॒जान॑ये
পতিলাভ। আগত আৰ্যমান আগফালে আহে—সুশৃঙ্খল স্তোত্ৰ-প্ৰশংসাৰে। এই কুমাৰীৰ বাবে স্বামী, আৰু পত্নীত্ব (জায়া-ভাব) কামনা কৰি—সন্তান উৎপাদনৰ নিমিত্তে।

अश्र॑मदि॒यम॑र्यमन्न॒न्यासां॒ सम॑नं य॒ती। अ॒ङ्गो न्वऽर्यमन्न॒स्या अ॒न्याः सम॑न॒माय॑ति
হে আৰ্যমান, এই কুমাৰী অন্যসকলৰ সৈতে সাধাৰণ মিলন-সভালৈ আগবাঢ়ি উঠিছে। হে আৰ্যমান, এতিয়া আন আন নাৰীও তাইৰ বাবে (প্ৰতিদ্বন্দ্বিনী ৰূপে) সেই মিলন-সভালৈ আহে।

धा॒ता दा॑धार पृथि॒वीं धा॒ता द्यामु॒त सूर्य॑म्। धा॒तास्या अ॒ग्रुवै॒ पतिं॒ दधा॑तु प्रतिका॒म्यऽम्
ধাতা পৃথিৱীখন দৃঢ়কৈ স্থাপন কৰিলে; ধাতাই দ্যৌলোক আৰু সূৰ্যকো স্থিৰ কৰিলে। এই কন্যাৰ বাবে ধাতাই ইচ্ছানুযায়ী উপযুক্ত স্বামী নিযুক্ত কৰক।
