ब्रह्मोवाच । किं तपः क्रियते भद्रे कार्यमावेक्ष्य शोभते । तुष्टोऽस्मि ते विशालाक्षि वरं किं ते ददाम्यहम् ॥
brahmovāca | kiṁ tapaḥ kriyate bhadre kāryam āvekṣya śobhate | tuṣṭo 'smi te viśālākṣi varaṁ kiṁ te dadāmy aham ||
Phạm Thiên nói: ‘Hỡi người hiền thục, khổ hạnh này được thực hành vì mục đích gì? Khi xét đến điều cần thành tựu, sự nỗ lực ấy thật xứng đáng. Hỡi người mắt rộng, Ta hài lòng về nàng—nàng muốn Ta ban cho ân huệ nào?’
