प्रतिबोधविदितं मतममृतत्वं हि विन्दते । आत्मना विन्दते वीर्यं विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम् ॥४॥

IAST Transliteration

pratibodhaviditaṃ matam amṛtatvaṃ hi vindate | ātmanā vindate vīryaṃ vidyayā vindate 'mṛtam ||4||

Translation

Sự hiểu biết chân thật là điều được nhận ra trong mỗi lần tỉnh giác; nhờ đó người ta quả thật đạt đến bất tử. Nhờ Tự Ngã mà đạt sức mạnh; nhờ Minh tri (vidyā) mà đạt bất tử.

Academic Translation

That is the true understanding which is known in each act of awareness; for thereby one indeed attains immortality. Through the Self one attains strength (vigor); through knowledge one attains immortality.
