दिवश्चिद्रोचनादध्या नो गन्तं स्वर्विदा । धीभिर्वत्सप्रचेतसा स्तोमेभिर्हवनश्रुता ॥
diváś cid rocanā́d adhyā́ nó gantaṃ svar-vidā | dhī́bhir vatsa-pracetasā stómebhir havana-śrutā ||
Dẫu từ cõi trời rực sáng, từ miền chiếu soi rộng lớn ấy, xin hãy đến với chúng tôi—hỡi những vị tìm thấy thế giới của Mặt Trời (svàr)! Với những tư tưởng được linh hứng—hỡi những vị minh triết, trong sáng như đứa con yêu—bằng các thánh ca của chúng tôi, hỡi những vị nghe lời thỉnh cầu, xin hãy ngự đến.
