अदब्धस्य स्वधावतो दूतस्य रेभतः सदा । अग्नेः सख्यं वृणीमहे ॥

Transliteration

ádabdhasya svadhā́vato dūtásya rébhataḥ sádā | agnéḥ sakhyáṃ vṛṇīmahe ||

Translation

Chúng con luôn chọn tình bằng hữu của Agni—vị sứ giả không thể bị phản bội, sung mãn quyền lực theo luật riêng của mình (svadhā), bậc thi nhân được linh hứng, mang lễ phẩm của chúng con lên các cõi cao.
