Sukta 3.59
प्र स मित्र मर्तो अस्तु प्रयस्वान्यस्त आदित्य शिक्षति व्रतेन । न हन्यते न जीयते त्वोतो नैनमंहो अश्नोत्यन्तितो न दूरात् ॥
prá sá mitrá márto astu práyasvān yás ta āditya śíkṣati vraténa | ná hanyate ná jīyate tvā́ūtaḥ náinam áṃho aśnoty ántito ná dūrā́t ||
Ước chi người phàm trở thành kẻ tiến bước cùng Mitra, giàu có nhờ lễ dâng đúng đắn; hỡi Āditya, người ấy học hỏi và được rèn luyện bởi vrata—luật hòa điệu của Ngài. Được Ngài che chở, người ấy không bị đánh gục, cũng không bị khuất phục; khổ não chẳng chạm tới—dù từ gần hay từ xa.
