उत वा उ परि वृणक्षि बप्सद्बहोरग्न उलपस्य स्वधावः । उत खिल्या उर्वराणां भवन्ति मा ते हेतिं तविषीं चुक्रुधाम ॥

Transliteration

utá vā ú páry vṛṇakṣi bápsad bahór agna úlapasya svadhāvaḥ | utá khilyā́ urvárāṇāṃ bhavanti mā́ te hetíṃ taviṣī́ṃ cukrudhāma ||

Translation

Và quả thật, Ngài bao quanh và chọn lấy lối đi của mình, hỡi Agni—Đấng ngự trên khoảng rộng, tự trị theo luật của mình (svadhāvan). Những dải đất bỏ hoang trở thành ruộng đồng phì nhiêu. Xin cho chúng con đừng làm bừng giận vũ khí của Ngài, sức mạnh mãnh liệt của Ngài; trái lại, xin cho năng lực ấy chuyển thành sự tăng trưởng và sung túc cho chúng con.
