ये पायवो मामतेयं ते अग्ने पश्यन्तो अन्धं दुरितादरक्षन् । ररक्ष तान्त्सुकृतो विश्ववेदा दिप्सन्त इद्रिपवो नाह देभुः ॥

Transliteration

yé pā́yavo mā́mateyaṃ te agne páśyanto andháṃ duritā́d árakṣan | rárakṣa tā́nt su-kṛ́to viśvá-vedā dipsánta íd ripávo nā́ha debhuḥ ||

Translation

Hỡi Agni, những vị hộ vệ—những người Māmateya của ngài—thấy bóng tối mù lòa liền gìn giữ người ấy khỏi điều ác. Hỡi đấng biết khắp, xin hãy che chở họ; họ là những người làm điều thiện. Dẫu kẻ thù ham muốn hại, chúng cũng chẳng thể làm tổn hại chút nào.
