न भूमिं॒ वातो॒ अति॑ वाति॒ नाति॑ पश्यति॒ कश्च॒न। स्त्रिय॑श्च॒ सर्वाः॑ स्वा॒पय॒ शुन॒श्चेन्द्र॑सखा॒ चर॑न्

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 4.5.2

ná bhū́miṃ vā́to áti vāti nā́ti páśyati káścana | stríyaś ca sárvāḥ svā́paya śúnaś céndra-sakhā́ carán

Let not the Wind pass over the earth; let no one at all look forth beyond. Cause all the women to fall asleep, and the dog too, Indra’s comrade, as he goes about.

Chớ để Gió vượt qua mặt đất; chớ để bất cứ ai nhìn ra vượt quá. Hãy làm cho mọi người nữ đều ngủ say, và cả con chó nữa—bạn đồng hành của Indra—khi nó đi rảo quanh.
