एक॑पा॒द् द्विप॑दो॒ भूयो॒ वि च॑क्रमे॒ द्विपा॒त् त्रिपा॑दम॒भ्येऽति प॒श्चात्। द्विपा॑द्ध॒ षट्प॑दो॒ भूयो॒ वि च॑क्रमे॒ त एक॑पदस्त॒न्वं॑१ समा॑सते

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 13.2.27

ékāpād dvípado bhū́yo ví cakrame dvípāt trípādam abhyèti paścā́t | dvípād dha ṣáṭpado bhū́yo ví cakrame té ékapadas tanvàm samā́sate ||

One-footed, he strode forth again as two-footed; from the two-footed he overtakes, thereafter, the three-footed. From the two-footed, indeed, he strode forth again as six-footed: those one-footed forms settle together into one body.

Đấng một chân lại sải bước, trở thành hai chân; từ hai chân, rồi sau đó Người bắt kịp và vượt qua ba chân. Quả thật, từ hai chân Người lại sải bước, trở thành sáu chân; những hình thái một chân ấy cùng hội tụ và an trú trong một thân (tanū) duy nhất.
