परजनस्य पूर्वमध्यमोत्तमवधा दण्डाः क्रेतृश्रोतृऋणां च ॥

Transliteration

parajanasya pūrva-madhyama-uttama-vadhā daṇḍāḥ kretṛ-śrotṛ-ṛṇāṃ ca

Translation

Đối với việc mua bán/đối xử với “người của kẻ khác” (parajana), hình phạt được phân bậc: thấp, trung và cao nhất; và trách nhiệm cũng áp dụng cho người mua, người “nghe/đồng thuận” (người trung gian hoặc người phê chuẩn), và cả chủ nợ.
