Narrator (implicit Purāṇic voice)
It is a core textual articulation of the Earth-lifting episode, influential for later narrative retellings and Varāha iconography.
The verse uses cosmographic categories (seven dvīpas) and general features (mountains, forests, settlements) rather than a single site.
The Earth is represented as inclusive of both natural and human habitats, implying an integrated responsibility toward environments and settlements.
