Sukta 10.36
दिविस्पृशं यज्ञमस्माकमश्विना जीराध्वरं कृणुतं सुम्नमिष्टये । प्राचीनरश्मिमाहुतं घृतेन तद्देवानामवो अद्या वृणीमहे ॥
divispṛ́śaṃ yajñám asmā́kam aśvinā jīrā́dhvaraṃ kṛṇutaṃ sumnám iṣṭáye | prācī́narāśmim ā́hutaṃ ghṛténa tád devānām ávo adyā́ vṛṇīmahe ||
హే అశ్వినౌ, మా యజ్ఞాన్ని ‘దివిస్పృశ’—స్వర్గాన్ని తాకునట్లు చేయుడి; అధ్వరాన్ని వేగవంతం చేయుడి—ఇష్టి కోసం సుమ్నం (అనుగ్రహం) గా చేయుడి. ఘృతంతో ఆహుతి అర్పించబడింది; అది ‘ప్రాచీనరశ్మి’—ముందుకు సాగే కిరణాలను ధరించింది. దేవుల ఆ ‘అవః’ (రక్షణం) ను నేడు మేము వరిస్తాము.
