ábudhram u tyá índravanto agnáyo jyótir bháranta uṣáso vyùṣṭiṣu | mahī́ dyā́vāpṛthivī́ cetatām ápo 'dyá devā́nām áva ā́ vṛṇīmahe ||

Translation

వారు మేల్కొన్నారు—ఇంద్రబలంతో నిండిన ఆ అగ్నులు—ఉషస్సు వికాసాలలో జ్యోతిని మోసుకొస్తూ. మహత్తరమైన ద్యావా-పృథివీ జాగ్రత్తపడుగాక; ఆపః కూడా. ఈ రోజు దేవుల అవం (ఆశ్రయ-సహాయం) మేము వరిస్తున్నాము, అంతర్దినం ఉదయించునట్లు.
