Sukta 10.25
त्वं नो वृत्रहन्तमेन्द्रस्येन्दो शिवः सखा । यत्सीं हवन्ते समिथे वि वो मदे युध्यमानास्तोकसातौ विवक्षसे ॥
tváṃ no vṛtrahan-taméndrasyéndo śiváḥ sákhā | yát sīm hávante sam-ithé ví vo máde yúdhyamānās tókā-sātau vivákṣase ||
హే ఇందో, నీవు మా కోసం ఇంద్రుని అత్యంత వృత్రహంతమ మిత్రుడు; శివ (కల్యాణకర) సఖా. వారు సమరంలో నిన్ను హవిస్తే, నీ మదే లో నీవు వారిని తోకసాతి (సంతాన-విజయం) కలిగించే జయంలో వృద్ధి చెందజేసి, విస్తరింపజేస్తావు.
