Transliteration

udī́raya pitarā jārā́ ā́ bhágam íyakṣati haryató hṛttá iṣyati | vívakti váhniḥ svapasyáte mákhas taviṣyáte ásuro vépate matī́ ||

Translation

పితరులారా! మేల్కొనుడి—జారుడు (ప్రియుడు) ముందుకు వస్తున్నాడు; అతడు భగ (భాగ్య-దేవుడు)ను పొందాలని కోరుతున్నాడు. హృదయంలో ప్రేరితుడైన ఉత్సాహి ముందుకు దూసుకుపోతాడు. వహ్ని (హవిని మోసేవాడు) విచక్షణ చేస్తాడు; సుకార్యంలో నిమగ్నమవుతాడు; మఖ (యజ్ఞ) శక్తి బలపడుతుంది; అసుర-బలం మనస్సులో కంపిస్తుంది.
