Transliteration

urúṃ hí rājā́ váruṇaś cakā́ra sū́ryāya pánthām ánv etávā u | apáde pā́dā práti-dhātave ’karutā́pavaktā́ hṛdayā́vidhaś cit ||

Translation

రాజా వరుణుడు సూర్యునికి అన్వేతవా (అనుసరించి) సాగుటకు ఉరు (విస్తారమైన) పంథా (మార్గం)ను నిర్మించాడు. పాదం లేని చోట కూడా అతడు పాదా (పాదాధారాలు)ను స్థిరపరిచాడు; ఇంకా హృదయావిధ (హృదయాన్ని చీల్చే) బలాలనూ అతడు అపవక్తా (తిరిగి మళ్లించగలవాడు).
