असुन्वन्तं समं जहि दूणाशं यो न ते मयः । अस्मभ्यमस्य वेदनं दद्धि सूरिश्चिदोहते ॥
Transliteration
ásunvantaṃ samáṃ jahi dūṇā́śaṃ yó ná te máyaḥ | asmábhyam asyá védaṇaṃ daddhi sū́riś cid ohate ||
Translation
సోమాన్ని పిండని వానిని, సమం చేసుకుంటూ నాశనం చేసే వానిని సంహరించు; నీ ఆనంద-శక్తి (మయః) ఇవ్వని వానిని. కానీ అతని లాభభాగాన్ని (వేదన) మాకు దయచేయి; ధనాధిపతుడైనా దానిని విడిచిపెట్టక తప్పదు—యాచకుని న్యాయానందం అడ్డుపడకుండునట్లు.
