नक्षद्धोता परि सद्म मिता यन्भरद्गर्भमा शरदः पृथिव्याः । क्रन्ददश्वो नयमानो रुवद्गौरन्तर्दूतो न रोदसी चरद्वाक् ॥
nákṣad hótā pári sádma mitā́ yán bhárad gárbham ā́ śáradaḥ pṛthivyā́ḥ | krándad áśvo náyamāno ruvád gáur antár dūtó ná rodasī́ íti carád vāk ||
హోతా నక్షద్ధ—కొలిచిన సద్మం (నివాసం)ను చుట్టుముట్టి చేరుతాడు; భూమి యొక్క శరద్-ఋతువుల నుంచి గర్భాన్ని మోసుకొచ్చినప్పుడు. ముందుకు నడిపించబడే హిన్నెహిన్నే చేసే అశ్వంలా, మ్రోగే వృషభంలా—అంతరంలో వాక్ కదులుతుంది; రెండు లోకాల మధ్య దూతవలె, ద్యావా-పృథివీ మధ్య వాక్ వాక్చరణగా సంచరిస్తుంది.
