ఈ ఏకమంత్ర ఆయుష్య మంత్రం పోషక దేవతలైన ఇంద్రుడు, సూర్యుడు, విశ్వే దేవాఃలను ప్రార్థించి, జపించే వానిని పూర్ణాయుః (“పూర్తి ఆయుష్షు”)లో స్థాపించమని వేడుకుంటుంది. తన ప్రాణశక్తిని దేవతల జీవించే, దీర్ఘకాలం నిలిచే జీవవైభవంతో సమన్వయం చేసుకోవడం ద్వారా, ఈ స్తోత్రం “జీవితమంతటిని పూర్తిగా జీవించుట”కు సంక్షిప్తమైన ధృవీకరణ-ప్రార్థనగా పనిచేస్తుంది.
