Sukta 8.60
शोचा शोचिष्ठ दीदिहि विशे मयो रास्व स्तोत्रे महाँ असि । देवानां शर्मन्मम सन्तु सूरयः शत्रूषाहः स्वग्नयः ॥
śócā śóciṣṭha dīdihí viśé máyo rásva stótre mahā́ṃ asi | devā́nāṃ śárman máma santu sūráyaḥ śatrū-sā́haḥ sv-agnáyaḥ ||
Chameja, ó o mais luminoso; resplandece para o povo. Concede (mayaḥ) — o deleite — ao nosso hino, pois tu és grande. Que meus heróis permaneçam no abrigo dos deuses — vencedores de inimigos, portadores do bom Agni no íntimo.
