आ प्र यात मरुतो विष्णो अश्विना पूषन्माकीनया धिया । इन्द्र आ यातु प्रथमः सनिष्युभिर्वृषा यो वृत्रहा गृणे ॥

Transliteration

ā prá yāta maruto víṣṇo aśvínā pū́ṣan mākī́nayā dhiyā́ | índra ā yātu prathamáḥ saniṣyúbhir vṛ́ṣā yó vṛtrá-hā gṛṇé ||

Translation

Vinde à frente — ó Maruts, ó Viṣṇu, ó Aśvins, ó Pūṣan — com um pensamento indiviso, que não furta. E que Indra venha primeiro com os que buscam a vitória: o Touro, Vṛtrahan, que abate Vṛtra, para ser celebrado por nosso hino.
