Todo este povo está acostumado às dificuldades, enquanto tu és digno de conforto. Por isso, ó justo de alma dhármica, para sua proteção velaremos e permaneceremos despertos.
O righteous one! you are used to conforts where as all of our people are accustomed to hardships. So we will stay awake and protect Rama.
The verse highlights protective duty (rakṣaṇa-dharma): those able to endure hardship should keep vigil to safeguard the one they serve, placing responsibility above personal comfort.
By truthfully acknowledging differing capacities for hardship and comfort, the speaker commits to a sincere vow of vigilance—satya expressed as reliable action in service of dharma.
