Prashna

एतद्वै सत्यकाम परं चापरं च ब्रह्म यद् ओङ्कारः । तस्माद् विद्वान् एतेनैवायतनेनैकतरम् अन्वेति ॥२॥

एतत् । वै । सत्यकाम । परम् । च । अपरम् । च । ब्रह्म । यत् । ओङ्कारः । तस्मात् । विद्वान् । एतेन । एव । आयतनेन । एकतरम् । अन्वेति ॥२॥

etad vai satyakāma paraṃ cāparaṃ ca brahma yad oṅkāraḥ | tasmād vidvān etenaivāyatanenaikataram anveti ||2||

အို စတျကာမ၊ ‘အောမ်’ (အိုံကာရ) သည် အမြင့်ဆုံးသော ဗြဟ္မန် (ပရဗြဟ္မန်) လည်းဖြစ်၊ အနိမ့်သဘော ဗြဟ္မန် (အပရဗြဟ္မန်) လည်းဖြစ်၏။ ထို့ကြောင့် ပညာရှိသည် ဤအထောက်အကူတည်းဟူသော အာယတနကို အားကိုး၍ ထိုနှစ်မျိုးထဲမှ တစ်မျိုးကို ရောက်ရှိသည်။

This, indeed, O Satyakāma, is Brahman—both the higher and the lower—namely the syllable Oṃ. Therefore the knower, by this very support, attains one of the two.
