Varāha
It shifts from tīrtha-power to political ethics, presenting an ideal of kingship (protection of the earth) and connecting regions through dynastic marriage motifs.
Kāśī, commonly associated in scholarship with the Vārāṇasī region, appears as a named polity through the phrase “kāśi-rāja”.
The verse foregrounds governance as protection of land and society under kṣatriya-dharma, a normative political-ethical ideal in classical Sanskrit literature.
