द्रोणस्तु शरवर्षेण च्छाद्यमानो महारथ: । वेग॑ चक्रे महावेग: क्रोधादुद्वृत्य चक्षुषी
droṇas tu śaravarṣeṇa cchādyamāno mahārathaḥ | vegaṃ cakre mahāvegaḥ krodhād udvṛtya cakṣuṣī ||
Sañjaya berkata: Walaupun diselubungi hujan anak panah, Droṇa—pahlawan kereta perang agung—bangkit mengerahkan kelajuan yang lebih dahsyat; dalam murka, dengan mata terbeliak, baginda memperlihatkan gelora tenaga yang garang.
संजय उवाच
The verse suggests that anger can generate tremendous force and urgency, yet it also signals a loss of inner composure; in dharmic terms, martial prowess is heightened, but ethical clarity and restraint are put at risk.
