इन्द्रो न यो महा कर्माणि चक्रिर्हन्ता वृत्राणामसि सोम पूर्भित् । पैद्वो न हि त्वमहिनाम्नां हन्ता विश्वस्यासि सोम दस्योः ॥

Transliteration

índro na yó mahā́ kármāṇi cakrír hantā́ vṛtrā́ṇām asi soma pū́r-bhit | paidvó na hí tvám ahi-nāmnām hantā́ víśvasyāsi soma dásyoḥ ||

Translation

Seperti Indra yang telah menunaikan karya-karya agung, engkau adalah pembunuh segala rintangan, wahai Soma, pemecah benteng-benteng. Sebab engkau sungguh, seperti putra Paidva, pembunuh kuasa-kuasa yang bernama ular; engkau, wahai Soma, pemusnah setiap Dasyu (kekuatan kegelapan).
