Sukta 8.48
अग्निं न मा मथितं सं दिदीपः प्र चक्षय कृणुहि वस्यसो नः । अथा हि ते मद आ सोम मन्ये रेवाँ इव प्र चरा पुष्टिमच्छ ॥
agníṃ ná mā mathitáṃ sáṃ didīpaḥ | prá cakṣaya kṛṇuhí vásyaso naḥ | áthā hí te máda ā́ soma mányé revā́ṃ-iva prá carā puṣṭím áccha ||
Seperti api yang dinyalakan oleh pengadukan, menyala-lah di dalam diriku. Jadikan bagi kami penglihatan yang lebih jernih dan keadaan yang lebih baik. Sebab dalam ekstasimu, wahai Soma, kurasakan engkau bergerak maju laksana daya yang kaya, melangkah menuju kepenuhan.
