प्र शुन्ध्युवं वरुणाय प्रेष्ठां मतिं वसिष्ठ मीळ्हुषे भरस्व । य ईमर्वाञ्चं करते यजत्रं सहस्रामघं वृषणं बृहन्तम् ॥

prá śundhyúvam váruṇāya préṣṭhāṃ matíṃ vasiṣṭha mīḷhúṣe bharasva | yá īm arvā́ñcaṃ kárate yájatraṃ sahásrāmaghaṃ vṛ́ṣaṇaṃ bṛhántam ||

Majukanlah, wahai Vasiṣṭha, bagi Varuṇa—sang pemberi yang murah—pikiran yang paling terkasih. Dialah yang membuat daya-persembahan berbalik menuju kami; ia layak dipuja, kaya seribu kelimpahan, Sang Banteng yang perkasa, Yang Mahaluas.
