Sukta 5.2
हृणीयमानो अप हि मदैयेः प्र मे देवानां व्रतपा उवाच । इन्द्रो विद्वाँ अनु हि त्वा चचक्ष तेनाहमग्ने अनुशिष्ट आगाम् ॥
hṛṇīyamāno ápa hí mád aiye prā́ me devā́nāṃ vratapā́ uvāca | índro vidvā́n ánu hí tvā cacakṣa ténā́ham agne ánuśiṣṭa ā́gām ||
Dengan rasa malu aku berpaling dari mabukku sendiri; penjaga hukum-sumpah para dewa (vrata-pā) telah menyatakan kepadaku. Indra Sang Mengetahui sungguh telah mengamatimu; oleh penglihatan itu, wahai Agni, aku datang ke sini dalam tuntunan.
