Sukta 2.23

तव श्रिये व्यजिहीत पर्वतो गवां गोत्रमुदसृजो यदङ्गिरः । इन्द्रेण युजा तमसा परीवृतं बृहस्पते निरपामौब्जो अर्णवम् ॥

táva śriyé vy àjihīta párvato gávāṃ gotrám ud ásṛjo yád aṅgiraḥ | índreṇa yujā́ támasā párīvṛtaṃ bṛ́haspate nír apā́m aubjo arṇavám ||

Demi kemilau-Mu gunung terbelah; kandang tersembunyi bagi sinar-sinar dilepaskan ketika engkau, wahai Aṅgiras. Bersatu dengan Indra, engkau memecah keluar dari perairan samudra yang diselubungi kegelapan—wahai Bṛhaspati, engkau membebaskan banjir yang tersembunyi.
