एवा त इन्द्रोचथमहेम श्रवस्या न त्मना वाजयन्तः । अश्याम तत्साप्तमाशुषाणा ननमो वधरदेवस्य पीयोः ॥

Transliteration

evā́ ta indrocátham ahema śravasyā́ ná tmanā́ vājáyantaḥ | aśyā́ma tát sā́ptam āśuṣāṇā́ nanámo vádhar ádevasya pīyóḥ ||

Translation

Demikianlah, wahai Indra, kami hendak melantunkan pujianmu demi kemasyhuran, berjuang dengan diri kami sendiri untuk meraih kelimpahan. Semoga kami mencapai yang ketujuh itu, maju mendesak; semoga senjata kaum tanpa-dewa—daya musuh yang menggelembung—tunduk menekuk di hadapan kami.
