Sukta 2.16
प्र ते नावं न समने वचस्युवं ब्रह्मणा यामि सवनेषु दाधृषिः । कुविन्नो अस्य वचसो निबोधिषदिन्द्रमुत्सं न वसुनः सिचामहे ॥
prá te nā́vaṃ ná sámane vacasyúvaṃ bráhmaṇā yā́mi sávaneṣu dā́dhṛṣiḥ | kuvín no asyá vácaso nibódhiṣad índram utsáṃ ná vásunaḥ sicāmahe ||
Bagaikan perahu untuk menyeberang, aku datang kepada-Mu dengan sabda yang rindu diucapkan, dengan brahman (mantra), dalam pemerasan-pemerasan Soma, wahai yang teguh. Semoga ia sungguh memperhatikan ujaran kami ini; semoga kami mencurahkan Indra laksana mata air kekayaan.
