यदा वलस्य पीयतो जसुं भेद्बृहस्पतिरग्नितपोभिरर्कैः । दद्भिर्न जिह्वा परिविष्टमाददाविर्निधीँरकृणोदुस्रियाणाम् ॥

Transliteration

yadā́ valásya pī́yataḥ jásuṃ bhed bṛ́haspátir agnitápobhir arkáiḥ | dád-bhir na jihvā́ pári-viṣṭam ā́dad āvír nidhī́ṃr akṛṇod usríyāṇām ||

Translation

Ketika Bṛhaspati, dengan kidung-kidung—tapas api—memecah kurungan Vala yang rakus, maka seperti lidah yang meraih santapan yang terhampar di sekeliling, ia merenggutnya; dan ia menyingkap harta-harta tersembunyi milik para yang bercahaya (usrīyāṇām).
