Transliteration

só cin nú bhadrā kṣumátī yáśasvaty uṣā́ uvāsa mánave svàrvatī | yadī́m uśántam uśatā́m ánu krátum agním hótāraṃ vidáthāya jī́janan ||

Translation

Demikianlah Uṣas (Fajar) yang ramah—kaya kelimpahan dan termasyhur bercahaya—telah berdiam bersama Manu, membawa cahaya dunia yang lebih tinggi. Sebab ketika para pencari, mengikuti irama sejati dari kratu (kehendak-sadar), membangunkan Agni, Hotṛ yang merindu, bagi sidang-sidang batin pengetahuan, ia datang tinggal bersama insan.
