Transliteration

pituḥ pratnasya jánmanā vadāmasi sómasya jihvā́ prá jigāti cákṣasā | yadīm índraṃ śámi ṛ́kvāṇa ā́śatā́d ín nā́māni yajñíyāni dadhire ||

Translation

Kami berkata menurut kelahiran Sang Bapa Purba: lidah Soma melangkah maju oleh daya penglihatan. Ketika para pelantun (ṛk) mencapai Indra di kedamaian, maka sungguh mereka menegakkan Nama-nama suci yang layak bagi yajña—rupa-rupa Ilahi untuk diseru.
