Sukta 1.64
चित्रैरञ्जिभिर्वपुषे व्यञ्जते वक्षस्सु रुक्माँ अधि येतिरे शुभे । अंसेष्वेषां नि मिमृक्षुॠष्टयः साकं जज्ञिरे स्वधया दिवो नरः ॥
citrā́ir añjíbhir vápuṣe ví añjate vákṣas-su rukmā́m̐ ádhi yetire śubhé | áṃseṣv eṣāṃ ní mimṛkṣu ṛṣṭáyaḥ sā́kaṃ jajñire svadháyā divó náraḥ ||
Dengan perhiasan yang cemerlang mereka menghias wujudnya; di atas dada mereka kemilau emas bergerak demi keindahan. Pada bahu-bahu mereka tombak-tombak ditegakkan kukuh; bersama-sama, oleh daya-swadha mereka sendiri, para lelaki Surga itu lahir dalam satu keselarasan.
