Sukta 1.55
अप्रक्षितं वसु बिभर्षि हस्तयोरषाळ्हं सहस्तन्वि श्रुतो दधे । आवृतासोऽवतासो न कर्तृभिस्तनूषु ते क्रतव इन्द्र भूरयः ॥
áprākṣitaṃ vásu bibharṣi hástayor aṣā́ḷhaṃ sáhas tanví śrutó dadhé | āvṛ́tāso avatā́so ná kartṛ́bhis tanū́ṣu te krátava indra bhū́rayaḥ ||
Engkau memikul kekayaan yang tak berkurang di kedua tanganmu; dalam tubuhmu engkau menahan daya yang tak terkalahkan, termasyhur karena mendengar. Dalam dirimu, wahai Indra, ada banyak kratu (kehendak-sakral) dan karya—tertutup oleh dirinya sendiri, terjaga oleh dirinya sendiri, bukan dibentuk oleh para pembuat manusia.
