अर्चद्वृषा वृषभिः स्वेदुहव्यैर्मृगो नाश्नो अति यज्जुगुर्यात् । प्र मन्दयुर्मनां गूर्त होता भरते मर्यो मिथुना यजत्रः ॥

árcad vṛ́ṣā vṛ́ṣabhíḥ svéd u-havyair mṛgó nā́śno áti yáj juguryā́t | prá mandayúr manā́ṁ gū́rta hótā bhárate máryo mithunā́ yájatraḥ ||

Sang Banteng dipuji oleh para banteng, oleh mereka yang persembahannya adalah kegembiraan mereka sendiri; laksana binatang liar ia melampaui sang pemakan ketika ia hendak dibangunkan. Hotar yang terilham dan bersemangat mengusung ke depan pikiran; sang pemuja muda membawa persembahan berpasangan, layak disembah.
