Sukta 1.101
यस्य द्यावापृथिवी पौंस्यं महद्यस्य व्रते वरुणो यस्य सूर्यः । यस्येन्द्रस्य सिन्धवः सश्चति व्रतं मरुत्वन्तं सख्याय हवामहे ॥
yásya dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ paúṁsyaṁ mahád yásya vraté váruṇo yásya sū́ryaḥ | yásyéndrasya síndhavaḥ sáścati vratáṁ marútvantaṁ sakhyā́ya havāmahe ||
Dia yang keperkasaan jantannya yang agung menopang Langit dan Bumi; dalam hukumnya bahkan Varuṇa dan Surya bergerak; yang titahnya diikuti sungai-sungai dalam alirannya—Indra itu, bersama para Marut, kami seru ke dalam persahabatan.
