दिवो न तुभ्यमन्विन्द्र सत्रासुर्यं देवेभिर्धायि विश्वम् । अहिं यद्वृत्रमपो वव्रिवांसं हन्नृजीषिन्विष्णुना सचानः ॥
divó ná túbhyam ánv indra satrā́ asúryaṃ devébhir dhāyi víśvam | áhíṃ yád vṛtrám apó vavrivā́ṃsaṃ hán ṛjīṣin víṣṇunā sacānáḥ ||
Comme venu du ciel, pour toi, ô Indra, dans les œuvres incessantes, fut établi parmi les dieux l’ordre divin tout entier. Quand tu abattis le serpent Vṛtra qui tenait les eaux couvertes — ô maître des coursiers fauves, agissant de concert avec Viṣṇu.
